When selecting a field, the weather (conditions, speed & direction) dictate our launch point. If we have multiple options, we always select a field and flight path that will make your Orlando Balloon Ride more pleasurable.
There are literally dozens of suitable launch and landing fields available to us each morning which makes each trip unique from the last. No flight in a hot-air balloon is ever the same as the last.
We only hold your credit card on file, we do not charge you until the morning of the flight.
The purpose for holding your credit card info is to prevent "No Shows", please see our "No Show" policy.
If for any reason we do not get the opportunity to fly, you will not be charged anything. Prior to leaving the meeting location we will settle up with you.
You may pay by cash, travelers checks, credit card on file or with a different card. If in the event the morning is looking a little doubtful we will not charge you until after the flight. This is in case the weather conditions deteriorate or your Pilot feels the conditions are not safe for flight.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T WANT TO GO ???
WE MISS YOU ALREADY!
No shows without 48 hours prior notice will be charged $50.00 per person or gift certificates will be considered void. We do not wish to enforce this policy, so if you are unable to make your flight please call as early as possible so that we may fill your reservation. This helps to keep our cost down so that we may continue to offer these affordable Balloon Adventures.
Since 9/11/2001, most of the Disney park area had been ruled a "temporary" no-fly zone. We do not believe it will be lifted any time soon. Disney has always wanted to restrict aircraft over it's parks and welcomes this restriction. While there are instances when 'hopping' Disney is possible, it must be done at 3000 ft which doesn't give you a very detailed view of the parks. Wind direction and speed must also be perfect. As such, flying over Disney is a very rare occurrence these day. We DO and CAN fly around the parks. Sites such as the Epcot ball are clearly visible in the distance. Your pilot will point out all the points of interest while air born.
Our pilots are knowledgeable of the area and enjoy being your tour guide aloft. Don't hesitate to ask questions and point out wildlife as we sail along. We want everyone to have a memorable experience.
In short, what's it like? Glad you asked!
Riding in a hot air balloon is the most peaceful and sedate flight experience to be had. In fact, the only sensation of movement is typically realized by looking at the ground moving beneath you. Since the balloon travels with the wind, the air around the gondola is calm and peaceful with the occasional breeze when the wind changes direction.
if the wind picks up, landings can be a little bumpy but nothing to worry about - your pilots are the most experienced in the business! They are FULL TIME pilots who make their living by keeping you safe! Something to consider when selecting your balloon ride operator in Orlando or anywhere else. That said, most landings are as peaceful and calm as take off.
We would like to clarify some of the misconceptions on the internet. There are two types of balloon systems. There are Sport Balloons and Ride Balloons. We are in the Balloon Ride business and therefore we fly Ride Balloons specifically engineered for passenger safety and comfort. We have balloons that will hold two to four passengers as well as balloons that will hold six to ten. Our larger balloon baskets are partitioned for your safety in the event of a windy landing. This eliminates other passengers from coming into contact with you. The pilot also has a separate compartment with the fuel system for an additional measure of safety. You may be in a balloon with other couples and we will do our best to make your flight enjoyable as well as safe.

You are requested to call 321-229-4213 the day before between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm to check in and verify the weather will be favorable. We will not launch in foul weather or in winds higher than 8 mph. It is the pilots responsibility for your safety and therefore is his or her decision on whether or not to launch. Your safety is our number one priority. If in the event of foul weather your flight will be rescheduled if you are able to do so and no charges will be charged to your credit card.
Dress for the temperature of the day. Layers are best so you may adjust as the day warms. Sneakers or closed toed shoes with rubber soles are best. At the launch or landing site we may encounter tall grass and morning dew is common. A change of socks or shoes may be a good idea if you are heading to the parks after your flight. We recommend camera's and video camera's with a wrist or neck strap for safety reasons. A soft case for your camera or video equipment would be a good idea so that you may stow your equipment prior to landing. Please limit what you bring with you in the balloon as we cannot be responsible for damaged or lost belongings. Purses and personal belonging may be left in the chase vehicle or locked in your vehicle before we depart the meeting site.
Please ask your doctor if you have any medical concerns and advise us if you have had any recent surgery, sprains, fractures, or any medical condition(s) that may be of concern for your safety. We look at safety very seriously!
If you are pregnant we will not be able to take you aloft.
We require all our passengers to sign a Release of Liability Waiver. If you would like to preview this before our flight please contact us and we will e-mail one to you..
